BioBubba – Wired Shooter

In an earlier post, I wrote about our undergarment that is designed to capture shooter physiological signals. http://biosension.com/2016/10/29/spuma-suite/

Time to explore a little deeper.

Lets start at BioBubba’s helmet. What you see is a standard maritime assault helmet that has been modified to capture eeg signals — brain waves.

Then BioBubba has the capability to capture breathing.

If you look closely you can see a sensor that is placed under the nose. This sensor is extremely accurate in capturing breathing patterns during a shot.

Then we have goggles/glasses.

The glasses have a heads up display(HUD). The HUD serves two functions:

a: It notifies the shooter when a physiological signal is abnormal.

b. It will be used to display a FLIR sight picture.

The goggles are able to detect eye movement, head direction and head acceleration. All this information is sent to a server for real time analysis.

To assist in the capture and transport of signals, a very small but very powerful computer is attached to the back of the helmet.

Then we have an undergarment. This picture shows another very small but very powerful computer which is designed to capture muscle movement in the thigh and calf muscles.

Then we have a shirt with yet another computer. It is designed to capture heart beat, the trigger pull, and muscle movement in your upper arm and fore arm.

In summary, we can capture:

a. Eye movement

b. Head movement

c. Head direction

d. Breathing

e. Heart beat

f. Muscle movement in trigger finger

g. Muscle movement in upper and lower arm

h. Muscle movement in calf and thigh

i. Anxiety levels

We can notify the shooter when physiological signals are beyond specified bounds
